Born Out of Necessity

East-West Institute of Applied Etiquette is a boutique consulting firm based in Hong Kong offering training in business etiquette, communications skills, and related topics to corporate executives and professionals in Hong Kong, Macau, and China.

The Institute's teaching philosophy revolves around Applied Etiquette^SM, a concept we invented and coined, and one which reflects a core belief that clients are best served by given information and skills that are real, practical, and immediately usable.

Our company was founded in 2008 based on four simple beliefs:

1.  Bad etiquette is bad for business.

2.  Manners and etiquette are essential life skills for all, without regard to

     socio-economic status.

3.  There is a need for formalized etiquette education in China.

4.  The way to improve society is to improve individuals.

East-West Institute of Applied Etiquette primarily serves clients in Hong Kong, Macau, and the People's Republic of China.  By special arrangement, we will also offer courses to those living and working in other cities in Asia.
